Yummy Edibles

A Royal Sunday Breakfast

Daddy was in Denmark and Germany last week, and he was inspired by the nice breads and pastries that Europeans eat for breakfast.

So this morning, Ada and daddy woke up early while mommy was sleeping, and walked in their pajamas to the pastry shop down the street, and prepared this royal Sunday breakfast.

Mommy’s favorite pastry was “the snow-flake cheese puff.”

Daddy’s favorite pastry was “the chocolate croissant yummy delight.”

And Ada’s favorite pastry was “all of them!”

Yumm! Happy Sunday everyone.

Ada’s seaweed snack

Ada had the idea for the last month or so that she wants to make a seaweed snack. It is a strawberry wrapped in seaweed. Here it is.

Ada’s Experiment

Ada decided to make a soup. It was super yummy. First, got beans. Then got a muffin tray. Put the beans in the muffin tray. Then put some water in, using a little pouring cup. Then put it in the oven.

We waited 30 min while we ate dinner. Then, we looked at it and wondered some questions and made some observations:

– some were wet and some we’re dry
– Ada wondered what the cashews would taste like
– I wondered what the dry brown pasta would taste like

Then we tried it. Ada said “yum yum”. Hamid and I were surprised, the beans were a bit cooked. We were all very proud.
