What do you think she ate when she turned eight?

Ada and I played a little rhyme and funny double meaning game today.  It just kind of happened with lunch.  We started with:

– What do you think Lilly ate when she turned eight?

and

– What do you think she won when she turned one?

ha, ha!

Here’s our list:

1.  What do you think she won when she turned one?

2.  What did she do when she turned two?

3.  Who did she see when she turned three?

4.  What was she looking for when she turned four?

5.  Who got a high-five when she turned five?

6. What did she fix when she turned six?

7. Who was eleven when she turned seven?

8.  What do you think she ate when she turned eight?

9.  What was fine when she turned nine?

10. Should we do it again when she turned ten?

Ada’s been playing with double meanings for a long time.  This is our newest version.

Some funny flowers

A fun day out with cousins. We met up with Deanna and Lilly on Ada’s stay home day. Enjoying and savoring before kindergarten.

Ada’s birthday – 5 years and splatter fun!

Ada had a great time at her birthday party with her girl friends and Lilly! They made a big Jackson Pollack-style splatter painting together as well as their own. Fun! The adults watched and ate in the other room. Ada danced after cupcakes, and enjoyed her friends. Happy 5 yo sweetheart!

A Royal Sunday Breakfast

Daddy was in Denmark and Germany last week, and he was inspired by the nice breads and pastries that Europeans eat for breakfast.

So this morning, Ada and daddy woke up early while mommy was sleeping, and walked in their pajamas to the pastry shop down the street, and prepared this royal Sunday breakfast.

Mommy’s favorite pastry was “the snow-flake cheese puff.”

Daddy’s favorite pastry was “the chocolate croissant yummy delight.”

And Ada’s favorite pastry was “all of them!”

Yumm! Happy Sunday everyone.

Ada’s seaweed snack

Ada had the idea for the last month or so that she wants to make a seaweed snack. It is a strawberry wrapped in seaweed. Here it is.
